CONTENT WARNING: white supremacy, anti-black violence, the KKK and the police

Inspired by Rita Schwerner, a white woman who went to Mississippi to register Black voters during Freedom Summer. She was widowed when KKK members and local police murdered her husband and the two other men he was with and disposed of their bodies in the Neshoba river. She refused to cry on camera, repeating over and over that Black people were being murdered every day and that the only reason the media cared about her husband was because he was white.

Compares the brutality of the KKK to that of modern police forces who kill Black people on a daily basis with impunity.

Samples are extremely graphic and depict the death of Eric Garner as well as media coverage of several other victims of the police.

The final verse is from Ella Baker's song which is often sung at Black Lives Matter demonstrations.
